Aardvark
A medium sized, nocturnal animal native to Africa sometimes colloquially referred to as the “African ant bear” or “ant eater.  The name Aardvark is Afrikaans for “earth” or “ground” pig.

It exists over the bottom two thirds of Africa.  It lives on ants and termites.  Aardvarks are afrotheres.
